In the middle of a slasher summer–here’s the Slaughterers–ready to jam, block, and kill! With words from their captain Sugar Rush- and bonus quotes from a few Slaughts!

What does it mean to be a Slaughterer?

It means you are fabulous, fierce, audacious, strong, and pretty. We like, totally don’t get you if you don’t wear pink.

How are the Slaughterers different from the other teams in the league?

We're not like other teams, we're a cool team. ;) The Slaughts have a natural fascination for Halloween, Horror, True Crime, and Mean Girls. We bring that horror enthusiasm to everything we do, on and off the track.

What motivates the Slaughterers to get out there and ‘kill’ the competition?

OH? We were trying to win? I thought we were trying to kill. Well one helps the other; double the pleasure we'd say. Nothing beats the thrill of the kill.

What makes the Slaughts the BEST team in DDD?

We are the best team in DDD because we practice hard, we play harder, and we party hardest! Our communication on the track is key to stopping the opposing jammer and our blockers can bust down any wall! Our jammers are so sleuthy, intense, and intimidating that they can kill any opponent! We are a bloody bunch of killers on the track and chop our opponents out!

Why do you think the fans should root for the Slaughterers this year?

We have some of the best energy on the track and off. When we play we make sure to give it 100% so they will always see a great block or our jammers being a menace to the opposing team.
